Sales Executive

Full Time Monday – Friday

OTE £35,000

About the role:
Business to Business sales - existing database and warm leads provided.
New business development – leads provided to develop new customers and markets.
Account management - Manage & develop customer accounts to increase product range.
Inbound and Outbound telesales – office based telephone and email sales.
Good basic with uncapped commission OTE £35,000.

The ideal Sales Executive
Experience in the rental kart/Quad Bike industry or similar would be an advantage.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Experience in outbound telesales – must not be reluctant to pick up the phone and call your customers.
Must be a self-starter with a can do attitude.
Account Manager - ability to build rapport with your customers
Foreign language would be an advantage but not essential.

Last year we had a turnover of £1.25 million with a total of 10 employees, Fastline Group has been experiencing exceptional growth. In the last 12 months, we have moved to a larger 5,000 ft2 warehouse and modernised its operations and employed a foreign speaking sales person to penetrate the European market.

This specialist product sales activity has reached the point that:

  • An existing client base has been established with rental karting, quad bike and activity centres with consistent monthly sales around £120,000.
  • An expanding product range has been established at a price point acceptable to the market and generally lower than or competitive with alternative suppliers.
  • Freight volumes have been increased to a level where competitive shipping rates for outbound sales has been established for the UK and international markets.
  • Outbound marketing campaigns have been conducted and the alternative mediums (email, post, product samples, trade publication advertising) tested and evaluated, with considerable success.
  • Telephone sales activity has been well tested to identify this as an effective sales channel and build the awareness of the Fastline Group with considerable success rates.
  • A webshop has been launched as a supplement to direct inbound sales activity.
  • New products are in the pipeline and new markets are being researched and target client lists being compiled.
  • We have developed an overseas sourcing with suppliers located in Pakistan, Netherlands, Taiwan and our own office in China.
  • The culture of Fastline Group is very team based, tight knit and inclusive, each member has a role to play and is often consulted for input on important decisions. While there are management titles, they do not create a hierarchy (flat organisational structure), everyone who contributes is treated equally.

    The environment can be fast based and intense at times and team members are encouraged to perform. Team members are required to be self-starters who can put their nose to the grind stone and get on with the job. We also provide a supportive network which assists team members develop product knowledge, interpersonal and work related skills.
